Who I am
Hello, my name is Rohit Ukirde. I am a Frontend Developer in United States. I also hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Springfield and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from University of Pune, India. Since the age of 16, I have delved into numerous programming languages. My interest in designing and developing engaging user interfaces is what drove me to specialise in Frontend Development.
What I do
I offer frontend solutions, making use of cutting edge technologies. I like mobile-first responsive design, progressive enhancement and single page applications. I enjoy learning languages and making web applications. I like to think about meaningful problems and implement great user experiences to solve them. Currently, looking for full time opportunities in Web Development. I live by a code of Integrity, Professionalism, and Dedication.

- Coding: Apart from HTML, CSS and JS at times I've worked with AngularJS, Python, PHP, Drupal, MySQL (samples on GitHub).
- Education: My Bachelors grade is 65%. My Master's GPA is 4/4. I am an Oracle 10g - Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert.

- Languages: I speak and write English, Hindi and Marathi!
My tools
HTML5
HTML is the foundation of a good website. I make use of HTML semantics to improve screen-reader accessibility and SEO. I always make sure my markup is W3C validated.
CSS3
I aim for well-organized stylesheets. I use Bootstrap, as the starting point for my designs and take it from there with custom modifications.
JavaScript
JS is a language of many quirks, my knowledge in lower-level languages has helped me comprehend its mechanics. I Use AngularJS to deliver demanding frontend solutions.
